week 6 and shooting with jason

It's been a few weeks I know, but the latest with me is I'm continuing with working out and I have actually started Insanity with a friend of mine Michelle. Insanity for those of you who don't know, it's an insane 60 day challenge with videos almost every day and supposedly you are guaranteed to be ripped or something afterward. And let me tell you from experience that it is indeed insane! However I'm not really doing it everyday for the 60 day challenge, I just use it as a night workout when I either haven't worked out for the day yet, or am feeling like doing Insanity:) fun fun.....

In other news, remember how last post I thought I wanted to do a half marathon this summer? Well i'm not doing a half marathon. But before you say, "Oh you quitter!", I'm actually going to do the South Jordan Utah Daybreak sprint Triathlon on June 9th instead!

It's a 1/4 mile swim, 10 mile bike, and 3.1 mile run. Michelle is going to do it with me and we are both sooooo pumped! Wish us luck on the training. The swim and the run won't be too hard for me however I don't think I have ever biked more then 2 miles in my life! :/ hopefully it won't be too bad.

In other news Jason and I went out shooting with his friend Justin this last week.


we went to newton to shoot at the range there and it was soooo muddy! our shoes were caked afterward!



yep that's my .22 cal long rifle! Thanks grandma and grandpa young!
